Program Description
At Vita Foundation, we believe every child deserves the joy of movement, music, and creative expression. Our Kids Special Needs Dance Program offers a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where children of all abilities can thrive.
Led by professional ballroom dancers and instructors trained in adaptive teaching methods, our classes help children build confidence, coordination, emotional expression, and social skills — all through the power of dance.
Program Highlights:
• Individual or small-group classes
• Sensory-friendly environment
• Modified choreography for each child
• Focus on confidence, joy, and personal growth
• Optional participation in showcases and community events
• Family-centered approach with regular progress updates
Whether your child is new to dance or already loves to move, this program is designed to meet them exactly where they are.
Goals
Our curriculum is based on American Style Ballroom Dance, including American Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz) and American Rhythm (Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Mambo).
All material is adapted and modified for each child’s physical, cognitive, and sensory needs.
Children learn:
• Basic ballroom steps and rhythms
• Partnering skills and safe movement coordination
• Musicality, timing, and body awareness
• Confidence, posture, and expressive movement
• Foundations of American Smooth and American Rhythm
• Simple routines they can proudly perform
